Terms of Service

1. The service
Arcantos is a self-hosted, multi-tenant AI platform. Access requires a registered account belonging to a verified legal entity. We describe the service as it is built: precisely, and without guarantees we do not actually provide.
2. Credits
Platform usage is paid for with credits, purchased in advance. Credits are a prepaid means of accessing Arcantos services only. Specifically:
- Credits can be redeemed only for Arcantos services — agent runtime, compute, storage, network, and model usage on models we operate. They cannot be used to pay any third party.
- Credits are not money, cannot be exchanged or withdrawn for cash, and carry no monetary value outside the platform, except for the statutory refund right described in section 4.
- Credits are tied to your entity and cannot be transferred to another account or entity.
- Purchased credits do not expire. Promotional credits, where granted, may carry an expiry stated at the time of the grant.
The credit value of each service is set in our published price list and may change for future usage; changes never retroactively re-price credits you have already spent.
3. Payment, VAT and invoicing
Prices are shown net of VAT for business customers and inclusive of VAT for consumers; the final amount, including any VAT, is shown before you confirm a purchase. VAT is applied according to your country and, for businesses, your VAT registration status. A purchase of credits is a completed, taxable sale at the time of purchase.
4. Consumer right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a credit purchase within 14 days. Because credits are made available immediately, by completing a purchase you expressly consent to immediate provision and acknowledge this right. Within the withdrawal period we refund the unspent portion of purchased credits from that purchase; credits already spent on services provided to you are not refundable.
5. Prepaid balance, low balance and suspension
Services consume credits as they run. When your balance runs low we notify you; if it is exhausted, running deployments are suspended. Suspension is reversible — topping up restores service.
6. Data retention after suspension
Important. Because compute and storage are finite, a deployment that remains suspended for non-payment is retained for a maximum of 30 days. If the balance is not restored within that period, the affected agents and all of their data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. We send reminders before deletion, but it is your responsibility to maintain a sufficient balance or to export any data you wish to keep.
7. Acceptable use
You are responsible for how your agents are configured and used, including any third-party model endpoints you connect. You must not use the platform unlawfully or in a way that harms the platform or other tenants.
8. No implied guarantees
We aim for a reliable, conservative platform, but the service is provided without warranties beyond those required by law. Availability, model behaviour, and third-party providers you connect are not guaranteed.
